Soft apology
Anchor to relevance
Transition window
Build-then-redirect

📖 Vocabulary

WordMeaningExample
interject 插话/突然插入(比 interrupt 更正式、更礼貌)If I may interject — there's a risk we haven't discussed.
jump in 插话/主动加入(口语,偏积极)Mind if I jump in and own that piece?
cut in 插嘴(略直接,配 sorry 显礼貌)Sorry to cut in — before we move on, I want to flag a risk.
before we move on "在进入下个话题之前"(黄金插话窗口)Before we move on, can I add one thing?
if I may "如果可以的话"(征询式插话,最礼貌)If I may, I'd like to raise a concern about phase one.

1. Soft apology —

  • Sorry to cut in — [插话点].
  • Apologies for interrupting — [
  • Excuse me for a second — [

:Sorry to cut in — before we move on, I want to flag a risk on phase one.

2. Anchor to relevance —

  • This is time-sensitive, so if I may — [插话点].
  • Before we go further, I want to flag — [
  • Quick relevant point — [

:If I may interject — the read replicas still don't have the new IAM role attached.

3. Transition window —

  • Before we move on — [插话点].
  • Just before we switch topics — [
  • While we're still on this — [插话点].

:Before we move on — can I flag a dependency we haven't checked?

  • Great point — and to build on that, [你的点].
  • I agree, and mind if I jump in here?
  • That makes sense. Actually, it reminds me — [你的点].

:Mind if I jump in and own that piece? I can have it done by EOD.

  • Sorry for the interruption — I'll hand it back to you.
  • That's all I wanted to add. Over to you, [名字].
  • Anyway, I didn't mean to derail — please continue.

:Sorry for the interruption — I'll hand it back to you for the rest of the plan.
